Terms of Use — MenoMap
MenoMapThese terms cover the MenoMap app for iPhone and Apple Watch. They add to the GW Labs Terms of Use and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also apply. If anything here conflicts with them, these MenoMap terms apply to MenoMap.
1. What MenoMap is, and what it isn't
MenoMap is a wellness tracker and education tool. It helps you record hot flashes, night sweats, sleep, mood, medications and other things you notice, see them over time, and summarize them for a clinician.
MenoMap is not a medical device. It does not diagnose menopause, perimenopause or any other condition, does not prescribe, recommend, start, stop or change any treatment, and does not replace care from a qualified clinician. Patterns in MenoMap compare your own entries: they are coincidence checks, not proof that one thing causes another. Always talk to a clinician before making decisions about your health or your medicines.
2. Urgent symptoms
MenoMap cannot assess symptoms or emergencies and does not monitor your entries for you. Bleeding after menopause (even once, even light) should be checked by a clinician. Chest pain, a sudden severe headache, weakness on one side, trouble breathing or fainting need emergency care: contact your local emergency number.
3. Health information in the app
The articles in MenoMap are general information for adults, written in plain language and checked against public guidance from sources such as the NHS and The Menopause Society. They may not reflect the latest research or your situation, and they are not advice for you personally. MenoMap is not affiliated with or endorsed by those organizations.
4. Your data
Everything you log in MenoMap is stored on your iPhone (see the MenoMap Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your device and its backups. If you delete the app or its data without a backup, we cannot recover it, because we never receive it. Clinician notes, share cards and exports contain what you entered; check them before you share them.
5. MenoMap Pro, Visit Reports and codes
- MenoMap Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
- The yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged.
- Yearly and lifetime purchases include Family Sharing.
- A Visit Report is a one-time purchase that unlocks one full clinician PDF of up to 90 days. It is consumable: it is used when you create that PDF and can't be restored on another device.
- Clinic and friend codes are App Store offer codes. They're subject to Apple's terms, to the conditions shown when you redeem them (for example, new subscribers only) and to availability.
- Prices vary by country and may change. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
6. Acceptable use
Use MenoMap for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, its articles or its designs, except as the law allows.
7. Changes and availability
We may update MenoMap, change or remove features, or change these terms. If a change to these terms is significant, we'll say so in the app or on this page before it takes effect, and the effective date above will change.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, MenoMap is provided "as is", and GW Labs is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the app, its patterns or its articles. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be limited.
