Privacy Policy

MultiPlant AI Scheduler

EFFECTIVE: OCTOBER 24, 2026

MultiPlant AI Scheduler (“the App”) is designed with your privacy in mind. Your plant care data belongs to you. This policy explains what the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data stored on your device

The App stores all plant data, care logs, photos, health checks, and watering schedules locally on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync. This data never leaves your device except when you explicitly use one of the optional Cloud AI features described below.

  • Plant names, species, and care settings
  • Watering history and care logs
  • Photos you take within the App
  • Health check and diagnosis records
  • Notification preferences

On-device AI

The App includes an on-device AI model (Apple Core ML) for local plant identification. This runs entirely on your device and sends no data externally.

Cloud AI features (optional)

Two optional features send a photo to a third-party service for analysis:

  • Cloud plant identification (“Get Precise ID”)
  • AI plant-health diagnosis (the Diagnose feature — disease and pest detection)

When you choose to use either feature, a photo of your plant is sent to Plant.id (operated by Kindwise) for analysis. These are the only times your plant data or photos leave your device. No personal information is attached to these requests — only the plant image is transmitted.

Subscriptions and purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or access your payment information. Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat, which processes an anonymous app user ID.

Analytics and tracking

From the first version whose Settings include a "Share anonymous usage stats" switch, the App sends anonymous usage statistics to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service that doesn't store IP addresses and receives only a one-way hashed identifier created on your device. The statistics are short, fixed labels for what happened in the App, for example:

  • which onboarding screen was shown, and when onboarding finished
  • when an upgrade screen was shown or closed, and which part of the App opened it
  • when a purchase or free trial was started, completed, cancelled or failed (with the store's error code), and the result of restoring purchases
  • whether notifications were allowed
  • that the App's main action was used (that it happened, not what it was)
  • when a trial reminder card or rating prompt was shown
  • short codes for errors the App ran into

They never include plant names, photos, schedules or notes, anything else you type or log, names or dates you entered, your location or time zone, or your RevenueCat ID. They are never linked to your name, email address or Apple ID.

Apple Ads: from that version, if you installed the App after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad, RevenueCat receives Apple's anonymous attribution token, so we can see which ad keyword led to a trial or purchase. Apple provides it without tracking you, and no tracking prompt is needed.

We use these statistics only to improve the App. They are never used for advertising, never sold and never used to track you across other apps or websites.

Turning it off: in the App's Settings, switch off "Share anonymous usage stats". The App then stops sending statistics, and purchases keep working.

Notifications

Watering reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notifications. No notification data is sent to external servers.

Data you share

Optional sharing features (“Share Your Garden” and CSV export) let you export a summary of your collection, shared only when you explicitly choose to, via the iOS share sheet.

Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. It requires no account and stores all data locally.

Data deletion

You can delete your App data at any time from within the App, or by uninstalling the App.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated effective date.
